Mark D. Williams is a Mechanical Engineer, Certified Renewable Energy Professional and infrastructure advisory consultant with more than 15 years of experience across renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable transport, green hydrogen and infrastructure development in Jamaica and the Caribbean.
His experience spans technical and economic feasibility, policy and regulatory review, project development, procurement, technical evaluation, implementation oversight and commissioning. He has worked with governments, utilities, developers, investors, international financial institutions and development partners.
Recent consulting work includes supporting Jamaica under a United Nations Environment Programme Green Climate Fund Readiness initiative on the green hydrogen economy, including national baseline, policy and market analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and strategy and implementation planning.
